TransPerfect is seeking a
French linguist
to support onsite language services at our client's office in
Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China
. This role is ideal for experienced linguists interested in contributing to high-quality translation and localization work for international projects. Additional onsite assignments may be offered in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform translation, proofreading, localization, or quality assurance tasks onsite
- Ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client guidelines
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to support ongoing project needs
- Provide onsite support for future projects as required
Requirements
Mandatory
- French speaker
- Legally allowed to work as a freelancer in China
- Professional experience in at least one of the following:
- Translation
- Proofreading
- Localization
- Quality Assurance
- French language teaching or education
Preferred
- Experience in automotive or other technical subject matters
Work Details
- Location:
Client's office in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China - Working Hours:
9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Beijing Time, Monday–Friday (or based on specific client schedule) - Future Work:
