The Maintenance Manager will have direct responsibility for maintenance employee safety and maintenance department performance for the Ingevity Zhuhai Plant including the implementation and support of the plant reliability process through the implementation of OPEX TPM.
Here's How You Will Impact Ingevity
- Vision and direction setting for the Maintenance Department, including maintenance strategy optimization, strategic planning, and continuous improvement for facility reliability performance, corporate engineering procedure execution in Zhuhai plant.
- Responsible for maintenance department personnel development as a safety and reliability culture change agent, and for modeling the Ingevity core culture including the "Ingeviway in Action"
- Responsible for evaluating vendors (contractors, equipment suppliers, etc..) for safety performance, technical/mechanical capabilities, wage rates, work rules, and any other factors that impact overall vendor cost
- Responsible for the mechanical integrity program. Responsible for special equipment management and related regular inspection and ensuring installations completely meet China regulations requirements and Ingevity engineering specifications.
- Responsible for ensuring regular preventative maintenance and major outages are completed to meet safety, quality, production, and spending targets.
- Develop and communicate the Department goals, objectives, KPI's, and budget along with accurate measurement and reporting. Develop, communicate, and manage the maintenance annual budget.
- Maintenance training program development and improvements.
- Participate in plant teams in support of safety, environmental, organizational and quality objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring effective collaboration between the maintenance team and all other stakeholders including Engineering, Production, SHE, Quality, and Corporate Purchasing.
- Maintenance workflow oversight including engaging with frontline employees on a regular basis to ensure that employee concerns are addressed and that work standards and stakeholder needs are satisfied.
What You Need To Succeed
- 5 years' proven track record of achieving business results employing engineering expertise and experience to ensure reliability and maintenance of plant equipment and operations.
- Solid project management skills and with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A strong background in engineering is critical.
- A BS in engineering is required and an advanced degree in engineering or business is desirable.
- This position requires effective communication throughout all levels of the organization.
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English required.
