We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Climate & Sustainability team within the Strategy & Operations practice. In this role, you will help our clients navigate their most critical ESG challenges and opportunities, from developing sustainability strategies to ensuring compliance with global reporting standards, ultimately contributing to a sustainable future .

Key Responsibilities
You will be a core member of our project teams, with responsibilities spanning client delivery, business development, project delivery, and knowledge management.

  • ESG Strategy & Consulting: Provide expert advisory on ESG strategy development, decarbonization roadmaps, and net-zero transition planning . Assist clients in enhancing their international and domestic ESG ratings (e.g., DJSI, CDP) .
  • Reporting & Disclosure: Support clients in preparing sustainability reports in accordance with regulatory requirements (HK exchange and A share sustainability disclosure) and global frameworks such as ISSB, ESRS/CSRD, GRI, SASB, and TCFD . Assist in the implementation of emerging standards like those from the ISSB.
  • Carbon Accounting & Product Carbon Footprint: Offer consulting services on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting following GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 standards. Develop analytics to help clients monitor and predict climate-related risks.
  • Business Development & Project Execution: Contribute to business growth by participating in proposal development, client pitches, and maintaining key client relationships. Demonstrate strong project management skills and execution ability, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of engagements.
  • Thought Leadership & Innovation: Conduct research on the latest ESG regulations, trends, and best practices . Share insights with the team and contribute to developing new service offerings and methodologies .

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a consulting role, specifically within sustainability/ESG services . Proven track record in market development, bidding processes, and managing key client accounts is highly desirable .
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Economics, Business Administration, or a related field that combines technical and economic disciplines . A master's degree is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of key ESG concepts, including GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3), decarbonization technologies, and global reporting frameworks (ISSB, CSRD, TCFD, GRI, SASB) . Experience with SBTi, carbon markets, and circular economy principles is advantageous .
  • Soft Skills: Excellent logical thinking, strong numerical sensitivity, and superior verbal and written communication skills. Must be a proactive team player with a strong commitment to client and team success, high self-drive, and the ability to work under pressure .
  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English, with the ability to use it as a working language for direct communication, reading, and writing .
