Your responsibilities
- Execute advanced 3D/2D CAD design utilizing DS CATIA V5 and manage data within the PLM system.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation: 3D models, 2D drawings with full GD&T, assembly instructions, and critical characteristics lists.
- Develop tooling/fixture designs and customer technical presentations.
- Maintain BOM and perform critical tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Lead and document DFMEA activities.
- Manage the engineering change process (ECR/ECO) via PLM.
- Create Process Flow Charts and support test sample definition.
- Drive product and process optimization (VA/VE) initiatives.
- Lead problem-solving activities (e.g., 8D) for test failures and customer complaints.
- Support prototype builds and validation testing.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards within engineering processes.
- Apply statistical analysis and SPC principles to validate designs and process capabilities.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Expert-level proficiency in DS CATIA V5 (proficiency in SolidWorks is a significant plus).
- Solid knowledge of the Product Lifecycle (PLC) and manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in GD&T and FMEA methodologies.
- Practical understanding and experience with IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 standards.
- Ability to apply statistical analysis and interpret SPC data for engineering decisions.
