该职位来源于猎聘 This position is based in Southern China area (preferrable near Shenzhen City) This position will focus on supplier process and parts build verification at suppliers'location for Generac Clean Energy Products.

The successful candidate will aid in ensuring suppliers meet Generac's quality standards for materials and products by conducting audits, analyzing data, resolving quality issues, and promoting continuous improvement. Collaboration with suppliers and internal departments to oversee manufacturing processes, prequalify new vendors, and maintain high product quality and compliance with specifications and regulations.

Candidates should be passionate about assuring high quality, defect free parts and subassemblies are delivered for the manufacturer of final assemblies.

Major Responsibilities

61 As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, manage supplier expectations and performance, driving corrective action and improvements towards ensuring high quality parts delivery within scheduled time. 61 Work collaboratively with suppliers to improve their manufacturing processes with IPQC at every build stage to yield quality and design compliant parts at final OQC. 61 Evaluate current and new suppliers to develop and improve service levels in search of continuous improvements regarding total cost and efficiency. 61 Has good knowledge of all electrical and mechanical component commodities with good understanding of how they function, their manufacturing build process flow and requirements for final design and quality inspection. 61 Regular travels to component suppliers, audit their processes, identify gaps that can potentially cause quality concerns and work with team and suppliers to come up with a resolution in a timely manner. 61 Lead Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) activities and ensure manufacturing readiness. 61 Drive SCARs with suppliers on material and process issues and verify its agreed resolution is being implemented and maintained throughout the part's life cycle. 61 Apply Statistical Process Control tools to identify and resolve quality issues 61 Build and maintain technical relationships with global manufacturing partners. 61 Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities for complex manufacturing challenges 61 Able to participate with suppliers on performing PFMEA, GRnR and SPC activities to verify manufacturing process is yielding results within acceptable standards.

61 Works with suppliers on performing and record keeping on components reliability testing status. This includes details like what parts/revision are being reliability tested in the test chambers and what are those test specs and conditions. 61 As becomes necessary, works with suppliers in creating a test fixture /Jig to help conduct any specific test to verify a part's performance. 61 Works with suppliers in identifying and assisting in appropriate equipment procurements related to part testing and inspection. 61 Review of suppliers OQC & COC prior to parts shipment to verify their accuracy and any applicable IQC at designated third party location. 61 Includes other duties as necessary Minimum Qualifications:

61 Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or masters is preferred.

Additionally, power electronics, consumer electronics, or commercial electronics background will be a plus. 61

5 – 7 years' experience in Supplier Quality or Management Preferred Qualifications: 61 Previous experience with continuous improvement, Six Sigma Concepts and methodologies. 61 Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities 61 Experience with ECAD tools (Altium, Eagle) and MCAD tools (Solid works, AutoCAD) to learn and understand material design will be a plus. 61 Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze and communicate with well-supported data 61 Proficient with the suite of Office Software, Quality and Statistical tools. 61 An individual critical thinker to strategically align actions to needs and set goals for a technical team for success.

Preferred Job Requirements 61 Has experience in mechanical (plastic and sheet metal parts) and electromechanical (wire harness, connectors) build process and inspection techniques. 61 Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred 61 Knowledgeable / Certified ISO auditor on QMS (ISO 9001), EMS (ISO and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) 61 Aware of use and application of UL standards in manufacturing of parts.
