  • Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures .
  • Site responsible for commissioning or installation of the equipment whichever is applicable.
  • Coordinate and follow up all installation activities to ensure that final delivery is fulfilled.
  • Report back to the Contract group when a fault/design mistake occurs or when customer does not follow our instructions, during commissioning/installation assistance.
  • Weekly time and status reporting.
  • Coordinate lift and other machinery assistance, with supervision from Installation Manager. Act as Banksman for lifting activities.
  • Make sure that all people working for MacGregor follow stated "Environment, Health & Safety" requirements.
  • Responsible for subcontracted Installation Assistance, Commissioning etc. under direction of Installation Manager.
  • Create and retain relations with customers.
  • Highlight problem areas and submit product improvement proposals to the Installation Manager with a view to prevent repetition.
  • Support Purchase Responsible in the handling of claims against suppliers.
  • Participate in order Close-out meetings. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education:
  • BSc degree in Electrical related or minimum 5 years equivalent working experiences Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years working experience with general electrics and PLCs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency in:
  • PC Worx programming (PLC) Program changes/reprogramming of Items
  • ABB Drive Studio, Drive Composer (Freq. Converter)
  • Trained to use hydraulic monitoring system as HMG 3000 or similar.
  • Setup of network communication systems. Configuration of switches, I/O, PLC etc.
  • BAS-P/U certification
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Hydraulic certification according to HPF or minimum 2 years equivalent working experiences
  • Flexibility to travel abroad and be away from home for up to 4 weeks.
