Your Job
The Senior Leader, Product Management, Networking Segment, China, is entrusted with the strategic direction and execution of the product portfolio for the CMS NTW segment. This role is pivotal in expanding market presence and driving sales growth throughout China, while ensuring seamless collaboration with both global and local cross-functional teams. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions in automotive high-speed cabling and interconnects, enabling advanced connected vehicle technologies such as ADAS, infotainment systems, and backbone applications.

What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Collaboration

  • Formulate and execute the vision, roadmap, and strategy for the CMS NTW segment in China, ensuring alignment with prevailing market and technological trends.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams—both within China and across global business units—to develop actionable perspectives on technology, products, customers, competitors, and market trends. Translate these insights into strategies that foster customer satisfaction, product line advancement, and profitable growth.
  • Partner with global business development and product management to define and implement sustainable growth strategies, leverage engineering capabilities, and manufacturing footprint for the CMS NTW product portfolio. Portfolio and Lifecycle Management
  • Lead product lifecycle and portfolio management activities in accordance with Molex's established processes, ensuring successful product launches and expansions.
  • Foster a highly responsive and collaborative team environment, engaging management, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales functions globally and locally to deliver customer-specific solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Drive initiatives focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and the dissemination of best practices across a matrix organization and multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Develop and publish strategic product roadmaps that reflect customer expectations and user requirements, in close coordination with segment management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead cost reduction, capacity planning, and quality improvement initiatives in partnership with manufacturing plants. Sales and Marketing Excellence
  • Direct cross-functional teams through the quotation process, ensuring proposals are prepared with accuracy, data integrity, and timeliness. Challenge inputs to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Articulate and demonstrate the value proposition of solutions tailored to customer requirements, preparing and presenting proposals and proof-of-concepts in both in-person and digital formats.
  • Conduct comprehensive market intelligence gathering to inform strategic decision-making at the management level.
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of target customers, applications, needs, and expectations. Perform SWOT analyses and assess the current business landscape within the assigned region.
  • Monitor industry and market trends impacting sales and revenue, systematically track competitor activities and developments within the region.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in product management or technical business development.
  • Proven expertise in the Chinese automotive market; experience with startups is advantageous.
  • Technical proficiency in vehicle electrical architecture within the transportation sector.
  • Ability to develop and implement growth strategies for the Asia-Pacific market.
  • Demonstrated success in product lifecycle and portfolio management, process improvement, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems and processes.
