Role Overview:
Drive customer application development, communicate capability building, and build a robust pipeline for DuPont Healthcare business. DuPont Healthcare business is the partner of choice for customers in advancing critical healthcare solutions and solving complex challenges through its integrated portfolio of Liveo and Spectrum plastics businesses, serving medical device, biopharma, and pharmaceutical markets.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; MS degree preferred.
  • At least 5 to 10 years' experience in silicones and/or plastics for the healthcare industry, with proven results in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify/drive new customer opportunities and lead cross-functional teams to manage projects.
  • Proven track record of accomplishments, including developing commercially successful new products/applications and authoring patents/publications.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively and collaborate with cross functional teams at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage customer application development pipeline projects focusing on healthcare markets.
  • Provide technical service and development for customers, including technical training, troubleshooting, and new product/application development and qualification.
  • Lead projects from conception through implementation and manufacturing, ensure alignment with customer needs and business strategy, and deliver goals and objectives on target.
  • Conduct lab work for new product/application development, performance testing and troubleshooting; document and communicate results effectively.
  • Assist in developing product value propositions and understanding the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop lab capabilities, including new equipment, processes, and test methods as needed.
  • Maintain high safety standards and advocate for safety in all operations.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain technical guides and marketing literature to support customer engagement and business growth.
  • Deliver technical presentations and process capability introduction at company meetings, conferences, and customer facilities.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for business improvement and growth, leveraging customer insights and market trends.
  • Collaborate with regional commercial and marketing teams to develop and achieve business growth plans.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in materials and/or components manufacturing for healthcare applications.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product specifications, projects, and business opportunities.
