Task description
- Drive China specific requirements, based on own experience and in cooperation with RD C/x departments
- Communicate and implement the CHN specifics and uniques in vehicle projects (via PLS and Commodity Group work) and functional and module strategies (China Requirement Working Groups, collaboration with RD/x).
- Development and adjustment E/E Telematics functional testing to China specific conditions and requirements
- Develop Telematics functional testing procedures to meet major use cases in China in order to evaluate and approve the quality and performance of Telematics in China
- Distinguish most harming and customer related parameters based on field researches, customer observation and feedback of component responsible engineers in RD in order to design tailored systematic Telematics testing procedures
- Plan and conduct E/E testing in China
- Plan required vehicles to give release after completion of E/E Telematics functional testing in accordance with project plan or MDS process
- Vehicle, parts and resources preparation
- Maintenance as well as completion in a timely manner and within project timeline
- Conduct Telematics functional test cases accordingly to fulfill MB standards and customers satisfaction
- Regularly report testing progress
- Issue finding, tracking and documentation
- Proper documentation of any issue findings in systems accordingly
- Support responsible engineer to reproduce issue and further analysis
- Report the updated failure solving status at issue tracking platforms
- Team internal support, support testing engineer other test related work
Qualification required
- Education
- Master degree in electrical engineering or computer science, and vehicle engineering is a plus
- Experience
- Graduates with first experience in automotive industry (including internships)
- Work experience at OEMs or suppliers for E/E especially Telematics development or testing is a plus.
- Familiar with vehicle development process is an advantage.
- Good driving skills.
- Good hands-on skills.
- Working experience in international company is a plus.
- Longer stay in Germany or abroad (Business or education) is an advantage.
- Specific Knowledge
- Capable of evaluating EE & Telematics of test vehicles regarding function.
- Capable of using diagnosis tools and data logger is an advantage.
- Basic know-how with schematics and wiring diagram.
- Solid Knowledge of vehicle CAN, LIN and Flexray or EE architecture, good knowledge of computer science or overall vehicle is a plus.
- Familiar with CANoe/ CANalyzer operation and relevant experience is preferred
- Basic diagnose knowledge is an advantage.
- Sensitive for issue detection, root cause analysis and system performance evaluation.
- Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Willingness to travel inside China and foreign countries.
- Fluent English and Chinese (oral, writing, listening and reading) is mandatory; German language knowledge is an advantage
