OVERVIEW:
Responsible for commercial aspects of Tier-2 supplier management (key component suppliers such as glass, metal, coatings, heating elements, compressors, etc.), working closely with OEM partners in Asia. The role combines strategic sourcing, supplier development, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure supply security, cost competitiveness, and innovation contribution from our supply base.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between Tier-2 suppliers, OEMs, and SharkNinja internal teams (PD, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) to align sourcing with product and capacity needs, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
- Manage and develop Tier-2 suppliers across key component categories (glass, metal, coatings, heating elements, electronics, etc.), identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new suppliers with innovative technologies and competitive cost structures
- Run RFQs, drive cost-down initiatives, and lead supplier negotiations to secure the best quality, cost, and delivery
- Perform routine procurement activities, including RFQs, C-BOM and cost tracker maintenance, SRM system updates, etc.
- Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports or summaries as assigned by China Supply Chain purchasing managers
- Demonstrate a multi-cultural working style to effectively communicate and grow within a global team
Experience:
- 8–10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or engineering within home appliances or a related industry, with a proven track record in multinational firms
- Strong knowledge of mechanical (plastic and metal), electronics (PCBA), and packaging costs and market trends
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (verbal and written), able to independently manage communication with both Chinese and international suppliers
- Self-motivated and independent, with strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills; project management experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions
- International or Western work experience is a plus
Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Strong execution, negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills
- Independent and self-driven, with a collaborative team spirit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Mechanical, Electronics, Trading, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred
- MBA or CPSM certification is an advantage
Travel Requirements
- Regular travel across East and South China (Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, etc.) and across Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia)
