Calix is a cloud and appliance-based platform and managed services company. You will be a part of AXOS Simulation team. We develop Sandbox which simulates our real HW products. You will participate in our simulation and automation projects. For example, developing simulation tools to ensure AXOS platform products and solutions work as expected. In addition, the candidate will participate in our product knowledge base built using LLM/RAG and other technologies.
After interning with this team for more over six months, you will:
- Accumulate experience in the entire design, development, testing, and operation of enterprise-level software
- Gain experience on Agent Design and development
- Improve your problem-solving and analytical skills
- Enhance your experience working in an English environment and collaborating with international teams
Internship Duration
- The internship can start immediately upon successful interview
- Work 3-5 days per week
- The internship period is 6 months or longer
Responsibilities
- Develop simulation/automation tools for traffic generator devices, IXIA or TREX.
- Using LLM/RAG and other technologies, create our network product knowledge base.
- Create AI agents to analyze the cause of the failure and reproduce faults in a virtual environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in 2026 or 2027, Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Communication Engineering
- Available for 3-5 days per week, lasting for 6 months or longer
- Experiences in C/C++ or Python coding skills
- Familiar with Linux operating system
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Computer Network, TCP/IP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies Dockers/Containers is a plus
- Knowledge of LLM/RAG is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Allowance
- RMB per day, adjusted based on the internship stage and performance.
