About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
Developer Ecosystem Lead
to spearhead Xiaomi's overseas developer ecosystem strategy. In this role, you will build and manage strategic partnerships with top global developers, driving growth, innovation, and monetization across Xiaomi's international Internet services.

This is a high-impact leadership position, offering the opportunity to shape Xiaomi's global developer platform influence and directly contribute to business expansion in Xiaomi's key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute long-term partnership strategies
    for Xiaomi's international developer ecosystem, focusing on
    onboarding and sustained collaboration
    to amplify platform influence globally.
  • Lead developer partnerships in high-priority categories
    (e.g., Gaming, E-commerce, Finance, Social, Entertainment), crafting category-specific solutions and leveraging Xiaomi's platform resources to drive developer success and monetization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources
    across product, marketing, operations, legal, and engineering teams to align platform capabilities with developer needs, pioneering innovative partnership models (e.g., joint go-to-market initiatives, technical integrations, revenue-sharing frameworks).
  • Build and maintain Director-level relationships
    with top-tier global developers and strategic ecosystem partners, leading business negotiations and ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Leverage data-driven insights
    to optimize developer lifecycle management, enhancing acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization outcomes.
  • Promote and operationalize Xiaomi's proprietary ecosystem capabilities
    — including device, OS, app store, and advertising resources — and co-create scalable go-to-market strategies to increase developer adoption and engagement.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    in developer ecosystem management, strategic partnerships, internet business development, or developer operations.
  • Strong exposure to mobile ecosystems (OEMs, app stores, advertising networks, or multi-national internet platforms) is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of developer partnership models, app monetization, growth tactics, and compliance frameworks across global markets.
  • Proven ability to independently design tiered partner incentive strategies, business frameworks, and scalable engagement models.
  • Excellent command of
    Spanish/Russian and English (written and spoken)
    , with strong executive communication and international business negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional resource integration, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Data-driven, with strong business judgment and experience in ROI-based strategy optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing partnerships with Top 100 Global App Developers or leading established, multi-party channel partnerships.
  • Familiarity with
    smartphone OEMs' internet business
    (e.g., OEM marketing, and content partnership with OEMs) is a plus.
  • P&L management experience and a strong track record in leading multinational projects involving mobile app developers.
