Mission:
We are seeking a
Commissioning Mechanical Lead
to oversee safe and efficient commissioning, start-up, and maintenance activities of Instrumentation and Control Systems. This role is critical in ensuring HSE compliance, leadership in safety, and technical supervision of team members to meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning Execution:
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with HSE and regulatory standards.
- Conduct Safety Walkdowns, approve work permits, and monitor risk management.
- Supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Coordinate technical support and vendor execution.
Maintenance Execution & Planning:
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
- Coordinate contractor personnel for smooth service execution.
- Prepare maintenance reports and ensure accurate CMMS documentation.
- Anticipate operational challenges and suggest improvements.
Team Leadership:
- Manage site teams, including rotation schedules, training, and performance assessments.
- Mentor technicians and set expectations for professional behavior and competence.
HSE Leadership:
- Promote a strong safety culture through example and active monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and take corrective measures as needed.
- Identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
