About The Role
Provide technical advice to sales team to develop and implement Auto display OCA solutions which meet customer needs. 80% on site customer support and 20% lab testing work are required.
What you will do
- Provide on-site support to solve customer issues related to Auto display OCA applications;
- Recommend suitable OCA product to customer based on application needs;
- Advice customer to adjust machinary to increase the yield rate when using products (soft to hard, hard to hard OCA lamination);
- Conduct failure analysis when defect happens. Design proper test program to find out the root cause;
- Estimate the costs, resources and time required to conduct one or more complex application projects and monitor the performance of these projects to ensure targets are met;
- Guide and execute complex projects on an international basis;
- Search for suppliers by desk research, exhibitions and conventions and visits;
- Develop and maintain state of art technical expertise;
- Search technical information that includes patents, technical papers, trade journal articles, etc;
- Prepare and file patent applications;
- Train, coach and guide new team members and interns with technical skill;
- Follow established 6S procedures to maintain a safe, clean, well ordered working environment;
- Other tasks assigned by superior.
What you will need
- 3 years display OCA lamination experience or tech support experience;
- Basic writing and speaking English;
- Willing to travel frequently;
- good work attitude and willingness to learn from and with one another; being open minded;
- good hands-on attitude;
- flexible, self motivating;
- strong communication and self assertion skills with local colleagues and global functions as well as with customer;
- good presentation skill.
