Market analysis / industry analysis / regulatory study / market entry strategy / industrial site selection CONSULTANT JOB AND ROLE DESCRIPTION Position (Senior) Consultant Supervisor: Consulting Managers (several individuals) Direct Reports Team members assigned to engagements on which Consultant is Team Leader As a Consultant, you will be a part of diverse team of individuals with expertise in engineering, the sciences, financial and operational analysis, geographic analysis, and applied economics. You will work independently and in teams with leading Fortune 500 and 1000 companies on engagements that help them build and expand their businesses in Asian markets. As a team leader, you will be responsible for planning and executing on projects in our consulting, M&A, and economic development practices. You will work with managers and directors to present findings to clients' senior management and C-level executives on strategic, financial, and operational decisions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead engagement teams and plan, organize, execute and deliver consulting engagements on-schedule and within the company's profitability targets. -Execute and deliver consulting engagement tasks on-schedule and within assigned costs as a member of engagement teams. -Ensure engagement administrative tasks are undertaken as required and on-schedule. -Assist Directors and Consulting Managers develop new consulting business either with existing or new clients. -Lead and develop staff to ensure their effectiveness in delivering appropriate and accurate advice to clients as part of a cohesive Company team. -Contribute to the management and administration of the Company's consulting practice. -Delivers other tasks as required of Directors and Consulting Manager. Required Skills and Competencies
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills. -Previous training and experience in financial analysis, project finance and/or economics. -Uses his expertise and experience and takes the initiative to identify creative solutions to client and Company problems. -Strong proven consulting or business process project management and leadership skills. -Proactive, responsible and able to work under pressure. -Willing to travel domestically and internationally. -Diligent and available to work whenever needed -Proven experience executing consulting engagements and taking responsibility to ensure project and client tasks are executed on-time and at the highest level of quality. -Demands that all deliverables, which he/she is responsible for coordinating are accurate and within Company set formats. -Ability to understand and work in a multi-cultural setting. -Able to use all MS software products competently at an advanced level: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Project. -Other software such as STATA, SPSS, ArcEditor, Photoshop, Illustrator, a plus. -Excellent written and oral professional business communication and presentation skills in English. - Excellent written and oral professional business communication and presentation skills in Chinese or Hindi. Qualifications and Experience
- B.A/B.S. degree from a top-ranked university in any discipline; an honors degree is a distinct advantage. -Advanced degree in business, economics, management, engineering or the sciences an advantage. -Experience in professional services (consulting, engineering project management, law, etc.) with a recognized firm. -At least 1-2 years of business consulting experience. -Experience marketing and selling professional services an advantage. -Experience managing P&L for manufacturing operations a distinct advantage. -Current residence in Asia an advantage.
