We are seeking a passionate and skilled Secondary English Teacher to join an established international school in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, or Beijing. You will be responsible for teaching English to secondary students, fostering strong analytical, creative, and communication skills through literature, language study, and writing.
You will teach classes of approximately 20–22 students, and will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons, support student progress through effective assessment, and contribute positively to the school community. The school encourages professional collaboration and offers a supportive environment focused on student well-being and holistic development.
Requirements
British passport holder (due to visa regulations)
Bachelor’s degree or above (English or Education-related preferred, but not essential)
PGCE or QTS certification
Minimum of 2 years of Secondary English teaching experience in the UK
Strong subject knowledge and ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
A positive attitude, cultural openness, and enthusiasm for living and working in China
