We are seeking an experienced Automation Control Engineer to take the lead in the design and programming of control systems for newly developed machinery, from concept to implementation. You will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of existing equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and potential for team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Control System Design & Development: Lead the control system architecture design, PLC programming (using Structured Text), and debugging for new machines based on technical requirements.
2.Existing Equipment Optimization: Analyze and improve the hardware configuration and control programs of existing machinery to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
3.Test System Development: Utilize tools like LabVIEW and Python to develop and maintain efficient automated test programs and data acquisition systems for testing equipment.
4.Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Guide and mentor junior engineers on critical projects; actively participate in cross-functional technical meetings to ensure project success.
5.Communication Integration & Support: Apply knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LAN) to ensure effective integration and data exchange between the control system and peripheral devices.
Qualifications:
1.Proficient in programming with major PLC brand (e.g., Keyence, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi), particularly using Structured Text (ST) language.
2.Hands-on experience with LabVIEW and Python for developing test applications.
3.Solid understanding of CAN and LAN communication protocols with practical application experience.
4.Proven ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues.
5.Prior experience in mentoring team members or project management is a plus.
- English & Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) communication skills to engage in technical discussions.
7.Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
