As a Sales Engineer, you will provide critical technical expertise to drive business growth. You will engage with customers to understand their challenges and demonstrate how our data virtualization platform meets their needs.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams in a fast-paced startup environment, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technology and global clients across various industries for significant career growth.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop deep knowledge of our platform, its features, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
* Address technical questions on customization, integration, architecture, and functionality.
* Develop and deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
* Provide customer feedback to internal teams (Product Management, Sales, etc.).
* Present solutions effectively to diverse audiences, from technical staff to C-level executives.
* Lead the completion of RFIs/RFPs.
* Manage client expectations and build strong problem-solving partnerships.
* Document all activities in CRM and internal systems.
**Desired Skills & Experience**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years as a Sales/Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer, Consultant, or Enterprise Architect, preferably in data management or analytics.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Hands-on experience with:
* SQL, relational and analytical databases.
* Understanding and optimizing complex queries.
* Data Integration concepts (ETL, Data Warehousing, ESB, DV).
* JDBC/ODBC, XML, JSON, REST APIs, Java, version control.
