The Role
As a Product Manager of IT Charging and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading the Energy & Charging product software , including the Customer Asset Tools , Cloud Control Platform, Network Operation platform and integration with cross functional product. In this role, you will lead the requirement analysis with business users , design the product roadmap or landscape , tracking the project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design the new functionalities in applications to support Energy and Charging Product.
- Promote the solution or functionality to Global business and import the global function locally.
- Manage the implementation as project manager.
- Manage the daily operation of application.
- Manage cross-functional software programs from end-to-end.
- Develop and manage project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
- Work closely with engineering teams to effectively coordinate complex design inter-dependencies.
- Constantly work to evolve our processes towards increasing precision and dependability, while still maintaining the agility that has gotten Tesla to where we are now.
- Lead your teams with strength and confidence through rapid development cycles, changing requirements, and uncertainty.
- As business partner to manage IT requirements of Energy business.
Requirements
- BS in computer science or electrical engineering, MS preferred.
- 3+ years' IT application project delivery and operation experience in automotive or energy domain. Experience in Energy and charging digital product , experience on IOT will be a plus.
- 3+ years' product management experience managing cooperate software programs and/or embedded systems.
- Excellent organization and delegation skills with ability to own the product roadmap and schedule with a track record of delivering projects on-time.
- Solid product sense with the ability to understand product architecture and as well as drive and criticize design decisions.
- Experience managing end-to-end product deployment — from concept through development and successful launch.
- Experience building, developing, and managing highly effective program management tools and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with ability to work in a highly cross-functionally environment.
- Ability to inspire confidence in the executive team as well as the engineering project teams, as the face of your programs.
- Experience with complex electromechanical systems and/or safety critical systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Individual must be well versed in all Microsoft Applications and Prototype Tool (Excel, Word, PowerPoint …).
