Education/Training
- Bachelor or master degree in law
- PRC Bar admission
Work Experience
- 10+ years of experience as inhouse legal counsel or private practitioner
- Experience in medical device industry will be a plus
Required Pre-requisites Skills/experience
- Proven ability in document drafting, legal analysis and project management,
- Solid legal knowledge in promotion and advertisement of medical device, IP protection, data privacy, employment law and dispute resolution and other general corporate matters,
- Good learning agility and business acumen
- Proficiency in both oral and written English

Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide full-scale legal support to the Injectable Aesthetic and Rx/OTC business in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, including daily legal consultation, legal review of promotional materials and contractual documents, trademark registration, anti-counterfeiting and other IP protection related work, legal guidance in data privacy and information security, legal support of key business initiatives e.g. new product launch, establishing new business model for Rx/OTC BU in Great Bay Area etc.;
- Collaborate and team up with the Compliance staff in assessing and managing legal risks in compliance investigation and other related work, e.g. assessing employment law risk in internal investigation of employee misbehaviors;
- Embedding the risk control mechanism into the relevant business process, under the supervision and guidance from the Legal and Compliance Counsel;
- Manage external counsels in arbitration, litigation and other legal proceeding;
- Deliver training to the relevant stakeholders in the organization on appropriate advertisement/promotion and applicable areas;
- Support the Legal and Compliance Counsel to enhance the holistic soundness of corporate governance in Galderma China, which may include certain specifc work spanning different business units or functions.
