Plan, Develop, Design, Release, Test and Validate VCB power supply and related components with focus on cost/maintenance reduction on an Agile way. o
Mindset of the automotive project milestone, product design and release timing slot, change management. o
Participate all development meetings in a regular base. o
Work with supplier to deliver the prototypes base on the project timing. o
Create the x in one controller requirement base on the complete vehicle property and performance targets and goal decomposition from system architect. o
Responsible for BEV truck x in 1 controller design and development. Including but not limited to the PDU, DC/DC, DC/AC, Motor generator inventor, contractor unit base on the requirement. o
Responsible for the x in 1 controller control logic, power topology, schematic design, power components selection design base on the requirement o
Responsible for x in 1 controller functional safety, HV safety, cyber security design with the VCB sys architect and related team base on the requirement. o
Cross function work with thermal management team for the x in 1 controller thermal management design, thermal layout, thermal and energy conversion efficiency calculation and simulation. o
Cross function work with e-propulsion & energy team, VCB team, chassis team, system software developer to complete the x in 1 controller interfaces, functions and software design and calibration to fulfill the requirement. o
Cross function work with purchasing and quality team to sourcing the x in 1 controller supplier in China market, create the technical requirement, provide the R&D profession rating. o
Verify the design on the system and vehicle function test and integration test. Carry out power supply system and components investigation, measurement and verification on test vehicle with the including FMEA and fault diagnosis. o
Follow up the issues during the development, investigate the root cause and implement the actions. o
Create the technical documents, drawings and release in the internal system. o
Recap and look back the entire development steps and propose the improvements in a regular base. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Bachelor's degree or above, major in Electric/Electronic/Automotive Engineering. 5 years in NEV Industry, including 2+ years direct working with BEV x in 1 controller. Very much proficient in vehicle/industry HV power supply and control logic. Deep understanding of UN ECE R100, ISO 6469, GB 18384, GB/T 18488, GB/T 18487, GB/T 31498, regulatory. Good command of English in speech & writing Commercial Vehicles E/E architecture Office, FMEA version 5 or other failure analysis method Problem solving skills CAD skill on Catia/UG, and schematic tool Skills on power consumption simulation tool, thermal management simulation tool Hands-on, very good motivation, team work, clear, objective and transparent communication Customer oriented, Entrepreneur, Creative, Innovation focused
