  • Wine Sector Location: China (Preferably Shanghai, Beijing, or Shenzhen) Reporting Line: Reporting to the Director of Business Development. Profile Required: We are seeking a commercial and digital strategist to lead the expansion and consolidation of our brand in the Asian market. The ideal candidate will be a hybrid profile combining deep knowledge of the wine world with solid experience in sales, logistics, distribution, and critically, hands-on experience managing social media and digital marketing in China. Their mission will be to build the commercial and brand structure on the ground. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the commercial and marketing strategy for China and Asia-Pacific.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage alliances with distribution partners in key channels (HORECA, Premium Retail, E-commerce).
  • Design and execute the digital strategy on Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, Douyin, Little Red Book/Xiaohongshu) to build brand awareness and generate high-quality leads.
  • Manage the end-to-end supply chain: import, customs, logistics, and distribution, ensuring cost and time optimization.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor tracking, and provide analytical reporting for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the regional budget. Mandatory Requirements (Must Have):
  • Sector Experience: Technical knowledge and proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the wine and/or spirits industry.
  • Asia and China Experience: Proven experience living and working in China, with a deep understanding of its commercial, cultural, and legal environment.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Knowledge in managing international supply chains and customs procedures in China.
  • Commercial and Digital Development:
  • Demonstrated ability to create commercial structures and open new distribution channels.
  • Practical and verifiable experience managing marketing campaigns on Chinese social media (WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu).
  • The presentation of concrete success cases will be extremely valued (e.g., follower growth, KOL/Key Opinion Leader campaigns that generated sales, community management, etc.).
  • Analytical Skills: Data-oriented profile, capable of analyzing both commercial and digital KPIs (engagement, conversion, ROI).
  • Languages:
  • Spanish: Native or bilingual proficiency (essential for reporting to headquarters).
  • English: Fluent (for international corporate communication).
  • Mandarin: Highly valued, and in many cases essential for operational management, dealing with local suppliers, and understanding the nuances of digital marketing in China. Personal Competencies (Soft Skills):
