Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This position is aiming to standardize and optimize inbound operations and customs process. This role ensures seamless execution across all relevant functions within SCM department, enabling the organization to meet business service requirements efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Lead the execution and maintenance of global lead time reviews and inbound cost analysis to support financial and operational planning
- Collaborate with internal tech teams and external service providers to enhance system capabilities and support tender processes
- Manage inbound logistics performance by monitoring metrics, updating SOPs and shipping guidelines, and overseeing 3PLs and carrier service quality
- Assist in inbound tender processes, including support for NTP procedures
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in inbound operations, acting as the local contact for global projects and ensuring effective implementation with stakeholders
Financial
- Prepare and deliver cost analysis reports to support internal and management decisions and financial requests.
- Oversee claim process to ensure timely claims resolution and successful outcomes, minimizing financial risk and operational disruption.
System and Processes
- Apply strong knowledge of company policies and departmental procedures to resolve operational issues and support business functions.
- Ensure timely reporting and updates while operating proficiently across key systems such as AFS, HUB Light, TCM, Ariba, and Infor Nexus.
- Lead inbound-related projects through documentation, tracking, and user acceptance testing for system enhancements.
