Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all .
Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here.)
About The Role
Hybrid – Shenzhen (2 days/week in office)
This is a high-impact role where you'll work alongside a talented team of analysts and partner closely with leaders across Product, Inventory, Commercial, and Engineering. You'll be a trusted advisor to Product leadership, influencing everything from strategic roadmap decisions to experimentation frameworks and growth opportunities.
With millions of users engaging with our work daily, your mission is to use data to shape what's next — not just analyse what's already happened. You'll bring sharp analytical thinking, storytelling excellence, and a collaborative mindset to a fast-moving, ambitious environment.
You'll join the analytics team focused on non-Flights verticals (Car Hire, Accommodations and Packages) — dynamic, high-growth areas where analytics plays a critical role in unlocking value, shaping strategy, and guiding the evolution of Skyscanner's products.
What You'll Be Doing
Product Insights & Experimentation
- Shape and evolve success metrics to guide product development and assess performance.
- Drive identification and quantification of new opportunities — including those not yet on the roadmap — through deep analysis of user behaviour. Proactively uncover insights to enhance user experience within designated Product areas, working closely with User Research and Design.
- Support experimentation at scale, from hypothesis generation through to post-test analysis and learnings. Design and evaluate A/B tests, ensuring results are robust and well-communicated
- Collaborate with our experimentation squad to improve experimentation processes and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Strategic Partnership
- Act as analytics partner for Product and Engineering to deepen understanding of user behaviour and product usage, shaping and influencing product strategy and driving it forward.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to align analysis with business context.
- Enable senior stakeholders to make confident, data-informed decisions through clear storytelling and compelling recommendations.
Enablement & Reporting
- Develop scalable reporting frameworks that surface key trends and guide strategic decision-making.
- Partner with central analytics enablement teams to align on definitions and tooling.
- Champion a self-serve analytics culture by empowering Product teams to access and interpret data independently.
- Present business performance updates to senior leadership, connecting the dots between product initiatives and commercial outcomes.
Team Leadership
- Set and uphold high standards for analytical rigour, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement, while mentoring and supporting analysts to develop their skills and grow their impact.
About You
- 4-5+ years of analytics experience, within a digital, tech, or e-commerce environment.
- Proven expertise in product analytics, influencing product strategy and decision-making with actionable insights.
- Strong technical skills in SQL and/or Python, with the ability to analyse large datasets efficiently.
- Skilled in data visualisation and familiar with tools such as Tableau or equivalent platforms.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods (e.g. experimental design, A/B testing, regression modelling).
- Exceptional communicator who can translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience developing others through mentoring or coaching.
