We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize supplier partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and managing suppliers, ensuring consistent supplier performance, and driving cost efficiency. The role involves overseeing contract manufacturing, validating off-the-shelf items, and selecting the right factories to meet business needs. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
Supplier Sourcing and Qualification:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers that align with business objectives.
- Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments to ensure compliance with quality, capacity, and ethical standards.
- Develop and implement supplier qualification processes to maintain a strong supplier base. Supplier Performance Management:
- Monitor supplier performance based on KPIs, including quality, delivery, and cost.
- Develop and maintain supplier scorecards to track and improve supplier performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risks. Contract Manufacturing and Cost Management:
- Lead contract negotiations with manufacturers to ensure favourable terms, quality, and service levels.
- Develop and execute cost management strategies to achieve cost savings and improve margins.
- Manage contract renewals and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Factory Selection and Off-the-Shelf Item Validation:
- Evaluate and select factories based on technical capabilities, production capacity, and quality standards.
- Assess and validate off-the-shelf items to ensure alignment with product requirements and quality benchmarks. Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Initiatives:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support business growth and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Identify opportunities for supplier diversification and implement initiatives to improve supply chain resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with product development and operational goals. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management, preferably in a manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of supplier qualification processes, contract negotiations, and cost management.
- Experience in factory selection, supplier audits, and performance management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
- Ability to study and apply new information.

- Experience working in a global sourcing environment with knowledge of international supply chains.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Strategic thinking and decision-making.
- Strong project management skills.

- High attention to detail and process compliance. Any of the following would be a plus
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
