BOA Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd. is a legal branch established by BOA Technology Inc. in China, responsible for the liaison and management of the company's OEM and suppliers, technical support for all cooperative brand factories and solving quality problems, as well as the marketing and sales of the entire Greater China.
Overview Of Role
Reporting to the VP of Global Operations based in Hong Kong with dotted line reporting to the Director of Business Systems based in the US, this role will be responsible for the overall management of BOA's APAC region IT infrastructure and operations across Greater China, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan. This role will manage internal and external team members to ensure excellence in IT performance and support. As the leader of the APAC IT team, this role will serve as the primary stakeholder and subject matter expert to inform the development of BOA global IT Strategic and Operating Plans and own the execution of the APAC IT Operating plan.
Core Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop the team to build a trustworthy and supportive environment
- Work with your direct reports to set and review performance/development goals, discuss feedback regularly throughout the year, and formally summarize during performance reviews.
- Manage IT infrastructure and network across all BOA APAC facilities including procurement, installation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Oversee APAC IT Operations duties including new hire/termination processes, workstation procurement/disposal, and general helpdesk support.
- Plan and lead the execution of IT infrastructure projects to achieve organizational objectives in alignment with BOA's Global IT Strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of BOA departments and business processes to identify IT risks and opportunities, and develop plans to ensure a fast, reliable, and secure IT environment.
- Manage relationships and define technical requirements with third-party IT service providers.
- Assist the global IT team with regional execution of global projects, serve as the primary APAC stakeholder when developing global project plans, and communicate project status updates or impacts to all APAC regions as necessary.
- Collaborate with global IT in yearly strategic planning, operating plan development, resource planning, and budgeting to drive regional execution and alignment with global strategy.
- Connect with global BOA IT team members, sometimes attending video calls during off-business hours
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar technical discipline
- 6+ years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure management for a multi-region company
- Comprehensive knowledge of information system technologies across on-prem and cloud environments
- Experience with Microsoft enterprise platforms including Active Directory, Entra ID, M365, and Azure
- Ability to administrate systems across Windows, MacOS, Linux, Hypervisors, Enterprise Firewalls and Networking Devices, VOIP / Phone Systems, etc.
- IT vendor management and liaison experience
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Regular travel between Hong Kong and Shenzhen is required. Travel to other APAC offices and USA may also be infrequently required
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in CompTIA, Microsoft, and/or AWS
- Experience with enterprise SaaS systems (ERP, CRM, PLM) and identity management platforms (Entra ID, Okta, ect)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO and risk management practices.
- Working familiarity with Project Management fundamentals
