Job Title
Engineer III, Test (Automation)
General Summary
The role is based at China Suzhou/India GOA site, who is the contact person to verify and fix production test hardware & automation issues from Operations & RD & Quality, make sure production test be running smoothly.
The role is critical to conduct new automation and AI projects & optimizations to production mass run, including initializing & designing new automation & AI fixture, contacting local resources to build the first prototype, firmware & driver development, integrating with production software, mass run in production, automation & AI savings analysis etc.
The role is also responsible for localizing and transferring production instruments & fixtures to reduce hardware costs and lead time and supporting Quality & Operations & RD to RCA test variances and analysis reports for customers.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electronics / Electronics Telecommunication / Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation / Computer Science or a similar field.
- At least 6-8 years of industrial experience in RF product automation & AI.
- Proficient in embedded system development per C/C++ and PLC programming on Siemens and Mitsubishi with strong coding and optimization skills.
- Proficient in Python and experience with relevant image recognition technology libraries (OpenCV, Halcon, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.).
- High skill in SolidWorks, CAD software for designing and documenting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiar with the working principles and data-processing methods of multiple robot sensors, and understanding perceptron algorithms such as object detection, recognition, and tracking.
- Familiar with motor driver boards, power management circuits, sensor interface circuits etc. Having a deep understanding of the principles, characteristics, and drive methods of servos motors, stepper motors and DC brushless motors.
- Proficient understanding of complete software development cycle, Gauge R&R, test plan / protocol development & execution.
- Responsible for RF test design, integration and familiar with PCB schematics. PCBA troubleshooting skills are desirable.
