Context: Be part of a Global Fortune 500 company and conduct research on Animal Feed for Poultry in China.
Responsibilities:
- Lead feed and aquaculture technology R&D team analyze global feed ingredients development trends, aquaculture policies, and environmental regulations, and develop a forward-looking 3-5 year R&D strategic plan;
- Coordinate R&D resource allocation, clearly define investment priorities, and ensure that R&D projects align with the company's overall strategy.
- Lead applied research in animal nutrition, feed fermentation, and livestock and poultry disease prevention, providing a scientific basis for product innovation and process optimization;
- Maintain abreast of the latest industry research trends, actively introduce and apply cutting- edge technologies, and promote technological iteration and product upgrades;
- Lead the development of feed ingredients and new products, including the optimization and upgrading of core formulas for livestock, poultry, and aquaculture, as well as the research and development of functional feeds;
- Collaborate closely with production to resolve technical bottlenecks in product implementation, continuously optimize process flows, and improve production efficiency and product stability.
- Represent the R&D Center at domestic and international academic conferences and industry forums, expand collaborative networks with world-class research institutions, universities, and businesses, and enhance the Center's academic influence in the feed R&D field.
- Ini ate and organize industry-university-research collaboration projects, integrated resources from all parties, jointly tackle key technologies, and promote the commercialization of research results.
- Maintain close communication with industry experts and scholars, stay abreast of technological development trends, and provide strong support for R&D decisions.
- Build and manage a high-quality R&D team, establishing a scientific and efficient project management and incentive mechanism;
Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent in animal nutrition, feed science, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, bioengineering, or a related field;
- 10+ years of R&D experience in a large-scale feed company or research institute, 5+ years of team management experience, and a successful product launch from laboratory development to commercialization in the poultry feed industry.
- Recent prior working experience in China.
