We are seeking an experienced
Director of Asia Operations & Supply Chain
to join the Global Operations team. The Global Operations team will oversee and lead the implementation of manufacturing, distribution logistics, sourcing, and supply chain activities. We will build, create, and enhance end-to-end operation strategies, processes, analytics, technology, and continuous improvement efforts.

As the

n, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain process. This includes procurement, production, inventory management, distribution, and logistics. The director is tasked with ensuring that the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.

As the Director of Asia Operations & Supply Chain and in collaboration with cross functional partners, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency and support business growth.
  • Align supply chain strategies with overall organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and service.
  • Ensure seamless operations and cost-effective solutions by collaborating with various departments such as production, sales and finance.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers, including evaluating their manufacturing capabilities and risks.
  • Negotiate costs and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing costs.
  • Implement effective inventory management systems and practices.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve service levels.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain effectiveness for product cost, on-time delivery, and quality.
  • Implement solutions to address problem areas and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to the supply chain team, ensuring they have the resources and readiness to meet organizational goals.
  • Hire, train, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on supply chain performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement and manage supply chain technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Prefer a background with consumer goods logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of global logistics operations, international trade regulations, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage budgets, and achieve operational goals.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as ERP(SAP/NetSuite), PLM and TMS systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel within Asia.
  • Capability of setting up new offices in Vietnam and other Asia locations.
  • Experience leading business and supply chain transformations including ERP conversions.
