Overview
We are looking for a product leader to take ownership of our institutional custody offering — a critical pillar in our long-term strategy as a regulated crypto exchange. This role is not for a pure product manager. We're seeking someone who
deeply understands the custody business and institutional clients
, and who can translate that into a compelling, secure, and scalable product.
This person may come from a
business background (e.g., BD, solutions, client-facing roles)
and transitioned into product — or vice versa. The ideal candidate is a
hybrid operator
who speaks both business and product fluently, and who can lead a custody solution that institutions want to buy, trust, and grow with.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our institutional custody platform — from strategic vision to execution and continuous iteration.
- Understand our institutional client base (exchanges, asset managers, market makers, family offices, etc.) and design solutions tailored to their needs and compliance requirements.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Compliance, Engineering, and Operations to deliver secure, compliant, and user-centric custody services.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and stay ahead of evolving custody trends and technology (e.g., MPC, HSM, segregated accounts).
- Work closely with Business Development to craft go-to-market strategies and support client pitches with product expertise and tailored solutions.
- Drive product-market fit by identifying monetization opportunities, supporting pricing models, and aligning product direction with revenue goals.
- Build and lead a small but impactful product team over time, fostering ownership and accountability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product or client-facing roles within institutional crypto custody or digital asset infrastructure companies.
- Deep understanding of institutional custody, including client workflows, compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, segregation), and custody architecture (MPC, HSM, multi-sig).
- Strong grasp of business models: you understand

. - Experience engaging directly with institutional clients to gather feedback and translate insights into product features and priorities.
- Exceptional cross-functional communication skills — able to work across product, legal, compliance, engineering, and sales teams.
- Proven track record of shipping secure, B2B fintech or crypto products.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
