About Your Role
The primary responsibilities are to supervise pattern makers, evaluate employee performance, make and assist in developing fit blocks based on garments sample, pictures, sketch specifications, coordinate new concepts or initiatives with Merchandising, and maintain technical expertise to ensure quality of output to contractors.
主要工作职责是监督纸样员的工作,评估员工的工作表现,根据服装样板、图片、草图规格等制作和协助开发试穿模板,就新的理念或举措和跟单人员协调,保持专业技术水平,确保对承包方输出的质量。
Your Responsibilities Will Include
You will be critical in delivering these activities but not limited to:
- Makes prototype patterns based on purchased garment, picture, sketch, description or modification of existing pattern, using computer or drafting equipment. To consult with sample room manager if new construction feature involved. To make patterns based on the buyer's requirement and at the same time considering bulk production efficiency. Oversees the sewing of prototype and sends to Kontoor Asia merchandiser for approval of style and fit.
 
根据购买的服装、图片、草图、描述或对现有纸样的修改,使用计算机或绘图设备制作原型纸样。如果涉及到新的结构特点,应和样板室经理商讨。根据买方的要求制作纸样,同时应考虑到批量生产的效率。协调样板缝纫工作,并向Kontoor Asia跟单员发送款式封样,供其审批。
- Sends sample size patterns together with sample to Kontoor Asia or KTB-US.
 
把样板纸样一起发给Kontoor Asia或KTB美国总部。
- Furnishes to the Senior pattern maker and sample coordinator's team to estimate the yards per dozen for new styles, etc.
 
向高级纸样员和跟单团队提供信息,以便其估算新款式的用量等数据。
- Communicates with Merchandiser/sample coordinator team, Cutting team, Sample room manager, QC inspector, and outside contractors concerning style, fit, quality, sizing, dies, and the construction of the garment. Keeps informed of production problems and methods which requires adjustments in patterns.
 - /跟单团队、裁剪团队、样板经理、质检员以及和服装款式、试身、质量、尺寸、模具和结构等相关的外部承包方进行沟通。及时通知需要对纸样进行调整的生产问题和方法。
 - Maintain efficient pattern filing.
 - Supervises and evaluates activities and progress of pattern makers. Responsible for the training and development of pattern trainees (pattern makers).
 
监督和评估纸样员的工作和进度。负责纸样实习生(纸样员)的培训与开发。
- Schedules and assigns specific product lines to pattern team, and adjusts assignments as circumstances dictate.
 
安排和分配特定的产品线给纸样团队,并根据情况调整分配。
- Maintains departmental technical expertise relating to pattern, ensuring consistent quality of output to Marker Services-sample cutter, and pattern standard fit for client requirement.
 
保持部门关于纸样的专业技术水平,确保输出到标记服务-样刀的质量一致,并符合客户要求的图案标准。
- Makes and assists in developing fit blocks based on garments, pictures, and sketch specifications. Coordinates new concepts or initiatives with Merchandising.

- Actively pursues cost savings opportunities on new & existing procedures

- Minimum 6 years' working experience; minimum 2 years' of supervisory experience
