• Technology Leadership & Strategy
Define and execute the R&D strategy for SEM and optical defect detection platforms.
Drive innovation in electron optics, UV/visible illumination, defect detection algorithms, and imaging systems.
Evaluate emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage in semiconductor inspection.
• Engineering Management
Lead cross-functional engineering teams (electron optics, mechanical, motion control, vacuum, detectors, cameras, and software).
Establish and enforce engineering best practices, system design methodologies, and development roadmaps.
Mentor senior engineering leaders and build organizational capabilities for scalable growth.
• System & Subsystem Development
Oversee design and integration of electron column, vibration control systems, high vacuum chambers, high-precision mechanics, and precision motion control modules.
Guide the development of UV imaging optics, high-power illumination sources, and next-generation detectors/cameras.
Ensure high-speed, real-time image acquisition, processing, and defect detection algorithms meet customer performance targets.
• Program Execution & Delivery
Drive complex system development from concept to production, ensuring schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
Collaborate with product management and customers to align product capabilities with market requirements.
Ensure systems meet semiconductor industry standards for reliability, throughput, and accuracy."
Key requirement 资历要求 :
"
• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles within semiconductor equipment, electron/optical systems, or high-precision instrumentation.
• Proven track record in leading SEM, optical inspection, or metrology tool development.
• Deep expertise in at least two of the following:
o Electron optics & beam control
o High vacuum & vacuum chamber design
o Precision mechanics & vibration control
o UV/optical imaging systems & high-power illumination
o High-speed, real-time image processing & defect detection algorithms
o Advanced detector and camera integration
• Strong program management, organizational development, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders and global customers.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience with semiconductor inspection/defect review tools (e-beam and optical).
• Knowledge of precision mechatronics and nanoscale motion control.
• Familiarity with AI/ML image analysis for defect classification.
• Track record of building and scaling world-class engineering organizations."
