Logistics Operation (80%)
- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations for jewelry across HK, TW, Mainland China, and Europe, taking full responsibility for shipments and customs procedures.
- Coordinate logistics for jewelry, including tasks such as customs documentation, communication with forwarders, customs deposit and tax payment applications, and TIB (Temporary Import Bond) management.
- Plan and manage logistics operations for production lines (workshops), ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with regulations, including FTA, Carnet, and TIB requirements.
- Monitor TIB shipments across all markets, proactively addressing issues related to aging, costs, and compliance while proposing optimized solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to provide prompt support for various sales activities, including stock distribution, shipment scheduling, end-to-end logistics arrangements, price negotiations, and onsite sales support.
- Manage and oversee the responsibilities of the Logistics Supervisor.
Contract Review & Budget Management (10%)
- Review and manage global contracts with forwarders (e.g., Ferrari, Malca-Amit, Brinks), including hands-on negotiations regarding pricing, KPIs, and service requirements.
- Review and optimize the group's insurance contracts, improving cost efficiency by fine-tuning terms and coverage amounts to align with dynamic business needs.
- Manage and control the logistics budget and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
SOP, ERP Management & Others (10%)
- Standardize and update local operations to align with evolving business development and sales activity requirements.
- Ensure the ERP system accurately reflects the real-time movement and location of all items at all times.
- Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience in the jewelry sector is preferred.
- 6-8+ years of experience in international logistics, with strong proficiency in handling import/export processes using TIB, CARNET, ATA, and other mainstream solutions and SOPs.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with customs regulations and procedures across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Europe.
- Proven expertise in managing end-to-end logistics solutions (Door-to-Door), with a can-do attitude and the ability to deliver dynamic solutions tailored to meet business requirements.
- Solid proficiency in ERP systems is required.
