Responsibilities
- Incident and problem handing for network issue Schaeffler network environment relevant.
- Support of EDGE IT with network errors and performance issues.
- Prioritizes regional projects and initiatives from daily tasks.
- Engage in procurement, installation, configuration and administration of multiple vendor network components (e. g. Access Points, WLAN controller).
- Capacity forecast including amount of planned/unplanned expansions Plan and implement firmware updates (multiple vendor).
- Support global strategy design and process improvement based on operational experiences, support global data center infrastructure capacity planning, procedures and audits.
- Analyze and test new network technologies.
- Calculate technical requirements for new network systems or expansions.
Qualifications
- Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and Modeling, Software Engineering
- Above 8 years of experiences in IT network operation, role of global organization is a plus
- 3 years or more to have IT network related projects experience (Green Field, lifecycle, authorization etc.)
- Solid Campus LAN and WAN technical know-how
- Data center facility and supplement knowledge is preferred
- Willing to do sense, good team player, agile working model awareness is preferred
