- Business partnering – Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and direction. Translate business understanding into people and communications priorities. Collect feedback and convey demand for P&C services. Advise and coach business in decision-making. Active member of a leadership team – contributing broadly to leadership team agenda and discussions.
- Strategy development – Participation to strategy development, bringing local markets view and needs to strategy development, and by doing so ensuring early on that these are well embedded to strategy development process.
- Strategy deployment – Successfully define, drive and own the people and communications agenda so that it is aligned with GK's strategic direction.
- Local people operations – Work closely together with People Operations team to make sure local requirements are covered by the services delivered by People Operations team.
- Engagement – Own the engagement agenda and drive local priorities. Manage the engagement survey and drive action planning. Coach managers in actions increasing employee engagement.
- Culture, Diversity, Inclusion and Equity – Play a leading role in GK culture development locally according to our strategies. Own with the business the development and execution of diversity, inclusion, and equity agenda.
- Change management – Focus to strengthening GK-wide understanding of people aspect of change. Take part into most impactful transformations within the unit. Provide coaching, training, and hands-on support for business.
- Internal and external communications – Play a key role in making sure different aspects of internal and external communications are well represented in the people and communications agenda. Active collaboration with Communications Center of Expertise to get expertise and delivery support to make sure we are ongoingly strengthening and protecting our reputation and brand and building a uniformed GK story.
- Workforce planning – Together with business, analyze and forecast workforce needed to achieve business plans. Develop approaches to meet those needs, lead and support in related actions, e.g. planning sessions, identifying critical workforce segments, identifying risks and contingency plans.
- Mergers and acquisitions – Support the business in M&A efforts by taking an active role in people aspects of the change. Advice e.g., due diligence processes, legal matters or making of post-merger integration plans.
- Organization development and capability building – Identify opportunities for supporting strategic direction through organization design. Support and consult the business when undertaking organizational changes and needed restructurings.
- Employment lifecycle consultation – Guide and support business in employment and labor law. Ensure compliance and consult with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Health and wellbeing – Partnering with Performance & Reward Center of Expertise, advise the business in health and wellbeing strategy and topics. Understand the Unit's situation in this area and develop approaches for improvement.
- Union and labor relations – Together with business and a dedicated Union and labor relations expert (where applicable), drive labor relations topics, e.g., negotiations and grievances. Ensure the compliance of the activities, and strive to eliminate potential conflicts of interest through e.g., awareness building.
- Business partnering relating to annual People and Communications processes – Collaborate with different trams to ensure smooth delivery of annual processes, focus to outcomes and impacts of these processes.
