Job Purpose
As Regional Business Development Manager you be will be tasked with managing Oxford International's partner universities' English programme projects as well as identifying and establishing partnerships with transnational and local education providers in China and developing, implementing and managing sales and marketing communications into these education centres, promoting the Oxford International Digital Institute brand and products with a specific focus on recruiting in-country students into Oxford International Digital Institute to ensure meeting the target revenue generation in South China.
This position requires the ability to analyse opportunities, create a compelling business solution, complete with detailed financial analysis, present the findings and propose specific recommendations. The Regional Business Development Manager must possess a high degree of creativity, organisational and process development skills and have a proven track record with presenting to Senior Management. Based in Guangzhou, this position is a key role for Oxford International Digital Institute's successful business expansion in South China.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Seeking and establishing partnerships with education providers of domestic and transnational education
- Establishing articulation and commercial agreements with partners
- Delivering superior customer service to all partners
- Growing sales through the creation and management of commercial partnerships and through product development opportunities
- Developing annual budget and actively managing costs & revenue
- Devising and implementing suitable recruitment and marketing campaigns to promote Oxford International programs to locally educated students
- Providing professional education advice and counselling services to education providers, parents and students
- Representing Oxford International Digital Institute's programs at key promotional events in the region
- Representing your division/region at company meetings

Statutory requirements
- Eligibility to live, work and/or travel freely in the designated region
- Meets statutory and organisational child-safeguarding requirements
- Qualifications Educated to a minimum of degree level
Experience and knowledge
- Significant experience in a sales environment, ideally with the sales experience of English test, Pre-sessional English and Pathways products.
- Proficiency in languages relevant to the market
- Experience of designing sales plans and of target setting
- Excellent knowledge of the designated region
- Training in a recognised sales and marketing programme
- Experience of leading sales teams
