About CGTN and the role

CGTN is an international media organization providing global news, in-depth analysis, and diverse perspectives across television and digital platforms.

As a Guest Booker at CGTN, you will identify and engage prominent experts and thought leaders for our TV and digital programs—helping shape the range and relevance of our discussions and enhancing our audience engagement worldwide.

Key Responsibilities


• Identify, contact, and schedule high-profile guests for TV and digital media appearances


• Work with producers and fellow bookers to expand and diversify the guest roster


• Conduct pre-interviews and brief guests on discussion topics, program formats, and technical requirements


• Coordinate with editorial and production teams to ensure guest segments align with program goals and editorial standards


• Represent CGTN at selected international conferences and events to identify and cultivate guest connections


• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with guests and their representatives

Qualifications


• Excellent command of spoken and written English


• Bachelor's degree or higher (journalism, communications, international relations, or related fields preferred)


• Minimum of two years' experience in media, communications, or related fields


• Demonstrated success in cultivating professional relationships with global institutions, think tanks, and government agencies


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed


• A collaborative professional with strong cross-cultural communication skills
