Job Description
To create and maximize value and potential for designated Brand in professional channel by developing, planning and implementing marketing strategy and promotional tactics that aligned with the Brand Strategy to achieve targeted sales growth and market share growth.
Key Responsibilities
To achieve targets within the allocated budget
- Drive business growth and sales target achievement for assigned brand
- Control of marketing and promotional expenditure within the allocated budget, leveraging resources to gain optimal ROI
- To develop and plan marketing strategy in both consumer and professional channels successfully
- Development of Brand Plans and Forecasts for the assigned product, including details of brand marketing strategy, resources and sales projections, etc.
- Develop product positioning and messaging for all relevant stakeholders
- Gaining market intelligence and customer insight through relevant market research programs
To implement marketing strategy and tactics optimally
- Design and execution of product marketing tactical plan/promotional mix and ensuring that these plans are implemented optimally and thoroughly to meet agreed objectives
- Develop and implement all marketing activities, including all professional, practice and creative development, collateral materials, localization, translation and distribution, and adjustments to local markets needs and laws
- Integrate and co-ordinate marketing activities through effective sales force support and engagement efforts
- Establish partnership and relationship with KOLs to develop and strengthen brand endorsement
- Development of key account promotion programs together with Sales Team
- Assessment of sales performance and identification of variances to plan; recommend and implement proposals that rectify or capitalize on current sales performance
- Support product training for sales force
To build up and maintain excellent collaboration with other functions
- Work closely with sales team and external agencies to ensure high quality execution of promotion programs
- Input to monthly rolling demand forecast in consultation with relevant cross functional team
- Input to the development of commercial value appraisals for new products/indication or business opportunities
- Collaboration with Medical Affairs and Regulatory function to provide quality and evidence-based promotional support to sales force that would nurture and support strong Brand positioning
- Support commercial team for coverage expansion
Skills & Qualifications
- University degree or above Medical Science, Pharmacy or related major preferred
- Medical Science, Pharmacy or related major preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in brand management of pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Demonstrated solid experience in brand marketing strategy development, promotional programs development and execution, with excellent commercial insight and strong analytical skill.
- Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in use of standard software applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proactive in problem solving and a team player.
- Passionate for excellent work, self-motivated and customer orientated.
