- Develop and evolve marketing strategies to enhance the impact of Frontiers' publications and initiatives.
- Design and execute multi-channel campaigns across social media, academic networks, and events.
- Use BI tools and market research to deliver actionable insights on trends, competitors, and audience behavior.
- Monitor citation performance and collaborate with journal teams to promote high-impact content.
- Lead and mentor Marketing Specialists, fostering team development and performance.
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, influencers, and media to expand brand reach.
- Align marketing initiatives with organizational goals through cross-functional collaboration.
- Report on key KPIs (e.g., article impact, citation trends, engagement) and optimize activities accordingly.
- Represent Frontiers at conferences, webinars, and industry events to promote published research. ________________________________________ Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in marketing, including 3+ years in a managerial role—ideally in academic publishing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of publishing workflows and citation drivers.
- Advanced proficiency in BI and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Web of Science).
- Experience translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Familiarity with citation metrics and digital marketing analytics.
