About the Role
We are looking for a
Mechanical Engineer Expert(Industrial Robotics & Automation)
to drive automation and robotics initiatives across the Group. You will assess current systems, identify improvement opportunities, and work with leading suppliers and partners to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze automation lines and equipment across business units, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks.
- Diagnose existing systems and propose optimization strategies, including upgrades, new technologies, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the Group's automation and smart manufacturing roadmap.
- Collaborate with external robotics suppliers, research institutes, and integrators to evaluate solutions and ensure smooth implementation.
- Lead end-to-end project management: initiation, requirements, solution review, execution, and validation.
- Deliver clear reports and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of industrial robotics principles and applications; hands-on project experience preferred.
- Knowledge of automation lines, transfer systems, tooling, and fixtures.
- Familiar with automation control systems, sensors, and actuators.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Proficient in English; international supplier experience is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Track record in leading robotics/automation diagnostics and improvement projects.
- Knowledge of smart manufacturing, digital factories, and Industry 4.0.
- Supplier management and bidding/technical evaluation experience.
