- Be responsible for the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in acco rdance with both China GAAP and group reporting requirements.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, including bank statements, inter-company accounts, and other key accounts.
- Manage the fixed asset register and oversee depreciation schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local Chinese financial, tax, and statutory regulations.
- Support the annual statutory audit and internal audit processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze working capital, focusing on DSO, DPO.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
- Assist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Qualifications and Experience Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS) and tax regulations. Familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP is a strong advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills & proficiency in SAP is highly preferred.
- Strong fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional context (both written and verbal). Preferred:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA, CICPA) is highly desirable.
- Experience with cost accounting and inventory management
- Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC).
