Agilent Indirect Sourcing is a truly global team with presence in 10 countries: UK, Denmark, Germany, China, India, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, and the United States. As a Sourcing Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop professional partnerships with key stakeholders in supporting their sourcing needs across the globe.

This role will join the truly global Corporate Services sourcing team, reporting to the Sourcing Director located in the United States. The team consists of 5 high performing professionals managing Professional Services, Finance, Travel, Sales & Marketing, and HR categories. You will be the main point of contact sourcing engagements, for the above-mentioned categories, in Greater China (Mainland, Hong Kong & Taiwan). China is a critical region for strategic sourcing and supplier engagement. This role will support high-impact initiatives, drive collaboration with local teams, and help strengthen Indirect Sourcing's global presence in China.

Beyond regional responsibilities, you will actively participate in global sourcing initiatives, cross-border projects, and process improvement efforts that span multiple geographies. Your work will directly impact Agilent's global sourcing footprint, driving consistency, compliance, and value across borders.

Success in this role hinges on building strong stakeholder relationships, delivering measurable cost savings, and driving compliance to sourcing policies. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with regional and global business stakeholders to drive sourcing strategies, optimize spend, and enhance supplier performance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building business relationships/trust with key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Developing sourcing strategies for Agilent China (Mainland, Hong Kong & Taiwan) and other countries/regions as needed.
  • Leading RFP's; e-Auctions, defining sourcing strategy for engagements; developing sourcing engagement communication plans; Drive commercial and contractual negotiation; execute end to end sourcing activities & aligning with stakeholders on supplier selection.
  • Conducting supply market analysis, cost modelling and benchmarking with a global lens
  • Managing contract review/renewal process, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on plans
  • Negotiating favorable contract terms, conditions and price for Agilent
  • Providing efficient and consistent communication to stakeholders on the progress of sourcing engagements
  • Drive compliance to Indirect Sourcing policies, processes and procedures
  • Ability to work within a truly global, multi-cultural environment adapting style to support global category strategies
  • Providing leading / supporting roles in Compliance Audit Preparation work, Sourcing Audit support
  • Delivering Sourcing knowledge sessions; communications & training for Greater China end users as required.
  • Proactively identifying savings opportunities and influencing stakeholders to buy into these solutions through robust analysis and ROI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree or University Degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English language is a MUST
  • Typically, 5-10 years relevant sourcing experience working in a multinational; multi-cultural environment
  • Experience across Professional Services, Finance, Travel, Sales & Marketing, and HR categories and demonstrated knowledge of sourcing landscape in Greater China.
  • Prior experience in leading complex RFP's and negotiation skills are core to this position.
  • Ability to clearly articulate strategy and gain alignment with senior management is critical for this position.
  • Person needs to be self-starter & ability to work with minimal supervision.
