Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization
Be the consumer and sport expertInfluence and execute the category directionWork with all necessary functions to deliver the category business objectivesCreate ranges within the category from both and image and commercial point of view
Key Responsibilities
Influence and implement strategic category direction, proactively set range direction for both SPW and FOSIdentify new business opportunities to drive innovation and/or commercialityShow full understanding and drive the product creation process whilst managing all tasks within the given time framesBecome a role model for other team members with regards to product creation processShow leadership through living the brand valuesBuild and maintain a strong relationship with cross-functional teams and with interlinked departments to enable an efficient product creation process; ensure product excellenceProactively analyze business, draw conclusions and act upon the key findings, drive profitability and efficiencyStrong knowledge of product information systems and the interlinking functions – clarity on respective timelinesHigh level of product expertise to create industry leading productsBe a competent partner for product and ranging discussions with markets and retailersPrepare and present ranges and business related topics - with respective audience in mind - by using relevant structure and contentIdentify projects to optimize category performance; work independently and steer to conclusion
