Position Overview
We are seeking an inverter expert with a strong technical background and leadership skills to lead the PV inverter grid connection testing team, ensuring our company's inverter products and services in the MV/HV distribution network sector remain industry-leading. This role involves overseeing test standard application, technical scheme development, and team capability building, while providing professional technical support to sales teams and customers.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership and Standard Application
- Lead PV inverter grid connection testing (compliant with MV/HV distribution network standards such as EN , IEC /2, CEI 0-16, VDE-AR-N 4110).
- Develop testing methods for new standards or requirements, participate in domestic and international standardization meetings, and interpret technical specifications.
- Validate test reports (authorization signatory qualification required).
- Testing Operations Management
- Lead the testing engineer team to ensure high-quality delivery of testing services.
- Collaborate with laboratory managers to plan testing equipment configuration and capability building.
- Develop and implement training programs for technical personnel to enhance team skills.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Provide technical support to sales teams (e.g., customer technical inquiries, solution design).
- Assist the customer service department in resolving on-site technical issues.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Work Experience:
- 10 years of experience in electrical product safety testing, with 5–7 years focused on PV inverter testing.
- Familiarity with PV inverter topology and key grid connection technologies (e.g., LVRT, harmonic suppression).
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (required for handling international standards and customer communication).
Core Skills
- Proficient in MV/HV grid connection standards (e.g., IEC 62109 series, VDE-AR-N 4110).
- Experience in testing method development and laboratory management.
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with international certification bodies (e.g., TÜV, UL).
- Familiarity with digital testing tools or automated testing systems.
