What you will do
- Follow established company QM processes and procedures according to IMS and consider enterprise environmental factors during daily work.
- Responsible for handling application requests from customers. Activities include analyzing customer's technical needs, conducting competitive lab testing & analysis, and suggesting solutions in the form of convincing reports.
- Provide on-site support to resolve customer issues in all related tape applications.
- Prepare and present technical information for customer training sessions.
- Be able to transform customer needs and requirements into target product specification.
- Being knowledgeable in and continuously apply tesa Standard Test Methods (JOPM).
- Develop standard and application test methods.
- Identify new market trends / opportunities and contribute to new product ideas and share with cross functional team. Be able to transform customer needs and wants into target product specification.
- Search for suppliers by desk research, exhibitions and conventions and visits.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science.
- Support Technical Service projects as a team member.
- Responsible for at least one standard lab equipment, including setting it up and performing routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in good working order.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members in standard and application test methods.
- Follow established 6S procedures. Maintain a safe, clean, well ordered working environment.
- Other tasks assigned by the superior.
What you will need
- Master degree in material science, chemistry with 0-1 years job experience or bachelor degree with over 2-3 years job experience are preferred.
- Industrial experience in conductive ink field is needed.
- Good work attitude and willingness to learn from and with one another; being open minded.
- Willing to travel.
