Job Description:
- Lead and manage business development activities across China.
- Guide the sales team to identify and execute growth opportunities and long-term strategic plans (LRP) within the local customer base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local OEMs to acquire new business and enhance existing accounts with improved profitability.
- Lead negotiations on key commercial topics including pricing, contracts, claims, and long-term agreements.
- Drive and achieve commercial KPIs such as annual revenue growth, margin improvement (including VAVE initiatives), price adjustments, AR management, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the key interface with senior customer stakeholders, gathering insights and resolving issues to exceed expectations.
- Oversee the development of annual sales plans and financial budgets in alignment with company goals.
- Maintain a clear understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer profitability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and global sales counterparts to support regional and global business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
- Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably with Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers.
- At least 5 years of experience in leading and managing sales teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in cost analysis and financial modeling.
- Proven experience working with local OEMs and understanding their procurement and decision-making processes.
