Job Title
Lead Scientist – EM

Summary
Closely working with technology, sales, marketing, ADE team to develop innovative products for targeted automotive and semiconductor customers in Electronics.

Responsibilities Include
As a key member of China FS R&D team and is accountable for –

Product Development

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, ADE and global R&D team to leverage the resource and knowledge to develop innovative products with solid financial impact to meet or exceed customer requirement.
  • Strictly follow IATF16949 and related semiconductor standards, MPM internal quality standard/NPDI procedure to ensure project smooth execution and quality targets achieved
  • Independently design the daily work and coach technician to support the NPI projects.
  • Create and manage a highly competitive patent portfolio for the product lines.
  • Co-work with process and manufacturing team to ensure smoothly transfer the formulation from lab to mass production.
  • Co-work with Marketing, Process technology, Production team and QC team to set up the production procedure, test methods and define the spec.

Safety & Compliance

  • Active Engagement in EHS management system and comply site EHS procedures. Embrace a safety mind-set into day-to-day work
  • Ensure deeply understanding and strictly comply with company compliance policy
  • Support the IATF16949 and ISO9001 audit to ensure the compliance to high quality standard

Qualifications
The following are

Background Qualification

  • M.S degree or above in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering and/or a similar Scientific degree
  • Language: Chinese & English

Required Work Experience

  • 5 years work experience in the field of product formulation (preferred in Electronic Materials or organic Silicone) in the automotive/semiconductor industries


Required Skills, Knowledge And Characteristics

  • In-depth understanding and knowledge in polymer structure property relationships, polymer filler interaction, adhesion and interface phenomena, rheological property control, polymer and intermediates modification.
  • Rich experience about automotive/semiconductor industries, familiar with IATF16949 over project management and Quality such as DFMEA
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Team worker, both at domestic and international team environment
  • Multi-tasks handling capability
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering and/or a similar Scientific degree.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in silicon-chemistry or adhesive technology or heat management for electronic devices.
  • Consistently pursuing innovation
