  • Manage regional pipeline by receive and analyze the request for quotations (RFQ), and request for inquiry (RFI) for Tooling business, including any Engineering change request (ECR) from BU within company's TTM requirement.
  • Lead and perform procurement role covering strategic sourcing of tooling, fixture, steel, samples, logisitics or services to reach OCS (Optimum Costs Structure) / target GM of business.
  • Manage and organize requests for sourcing of tooling and fixtures; by completing suppliers validation, making costs analysis and leverage contractual negotiation, managing supply management for tooling business, as per standards, rules and procedures.
  • Lead and complete supplier Assesment Performance cooperation with SGVT Engineering and Project Engineers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers buiding effective partnerships, always trageting to increase company's competitiveness towards our customers.
  • Cooperate along Regional Buyers across the organization to do strategic sourcing of tooling and fixtures.
  • Develop and implement Purchase strategies covering all products and services commodities and supplier processes throughout a global enterprise to deliver maximum value, leverage, and standardization, in order to achieve OCS goals.
  • Prepare, analyse and define for each business case strategic sourcing proposal through extensive cost analysis to reach OCS/target GM, and prepare complete sourcing proposal.
  • Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with the quality team, users, vendors and others to determine the root cause of problem and take corrective and preventive action;
  • Regularly update supplier dashboard data and take necessary actions for managing supplier issues on their performance, as well as Forecast, mitigate and Assist any potential issue or blockage from suppplier.
  • Working as part of the Global Competitiveness and Strategic Procurement team liaising closely with the local Purchase Team of every Business Division.
  • Start the escalation process inside of SGVT in case of any supplier issue with impact in the BU's operations.
  • Lead negotiation for delivery time, costs and if deviations have occurred discuss and agree alternatives with requestor.
  • Lead negotiation to achieve best price according to each business case and project.
  • Holding the project SGVT internal kick off meetings of project (Goals/Milestones to be achieved, information to be received, follow-up of each project, etc.)
  • Define and align deliverables between SGVT, Business unit & Supplier.
  • Collaborating and communicate with business unit members and leaders from around the business to determine needs and create solutions for those needs.
  • Identify, and suggest training opportunities; proactively develop mechanism for efficiency improvement.
  • Analyze, assess and Select appropriate vendors in the supply of tools for the Company
  • Organize technical reviews with Business Unit to review and align technical and economical proposals.
  • Prepare and present sourcing proposal to regional and corporate committee for Pre-SPIC and SPIC approval.
  • Provide and manage all the requested data inputs and outputs on the FULLSTEP Platform and database.
  • Assure the correct execution of the decisions approved by Pre-SPIC and SPIC.
  • Based on approval, prepare and draft contract for suppliers and business unit.
  • Manage and collect invoices from suppliers and apply for payments based on contract.
  • Participate and clarify tooling business assumptions from Gate 0 & Gate 1 meeting.
  • Support BU for the potential new business, accordingly to milestones to be achieved, information to be received, follow-up each project, etc.
  • Analysis of the root cause for any business loss.
  • Find and help implement new technologies and process improvement for business
  • Continuosly search for new suppliers (new business) for different commodities.
  • Manage multiple tasks at once, in a high-pressure environment.
