DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION As Brand Strategy Director, you are based in our Shanghai headquarters. You will report to Managing Director. You will be the growth engine and key advocator of our own brand. You will actively participate in marketing activities to engage our prospects and existing clients, form and grow trust-based client relationships, prepare right product offerings to fulfill clients' needs, ensure smooth transition from business development to project teams, keep an open mind for innovative business development skills and approaches, and manage deliver business target. Main Responsibilities
Client Engagement │We build journey with clients, guide them through unique, various and exciting projects. Are you ready to build a new journey, too?

  • Collaborate with BAM team (BD & Account team) to activate existing clients and develop new clients. Supervise or take charge of designing proposals, attending pitch meetings and presentation meetings.
  • Establish and maintain a trustworthy relationship with the clients through high quality listening and effective communication.
  • Be responsible for proposal presentation/ quotes making/ formatting/ mailing and so on to clients for new opportunity. Project Excellence │ We see beauty in each project: we aim to make every human and enterprise uniquely brilliant and beautiful, how about you?
  • Lead projects, allocate and organize resources, supervise project execution, ensure that Labbrand's vision, mission and value proposition are well embedded in the entire project process.
  • Act as client's guiding partner to ensure the project process clear, smart and profitable.
  • Take an active role in steering the project, assessing and creating new opportunities along the delivery of the project.
  • Take control of the report quality and run final report to clients.
  • Coordinate with departments for cross-department projects..
  • Deliver high quality reports and project outcomes to the clients timely
  • Coordinate with other departments for cross-department projects and keep related parties informed during the whole process.
  • Lead the team to conduct preparation meeting, kick off and debriefing meeting to well prepare for each project.

Thought Leadership │ You will become a brand expert in tune with the latest state of art in the branding field.

  • Participate in marketing activities and maintain account management, including attending events, forum, and presentation meeting regularly on a strategic level to activate regular customers.
  • Organize the development of compelling case studies and newsletters (content/visuals) from completed projects, as well as relevant articles to promote Labbrand consulting services.   • Implement quality improvement, including organization, process, and tools.
  • Develop/learn and apply innovative methodologies to meet specific goals: Sales Skills, Customers Efficient Communication, Customer Service, etc.
  • Guide team to learn new knowledge and techniques.
  • Coach the team, conduct performance evaluation and improve the quality of team members on a regular basis. Note: this responsibilities list is non-exhaustive. Requirements:
  • Master degree or above, strong in logic thinking and verbal expression
  • More than 10 years' work experience in brand strategy, be able to lead project independently
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese speaking and writing.
  • Proven business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proven experience in working with Chinese client for overseas expansion projects.
  • Strong sense of accountability and responsibility with integrity and trust
  • Collaborative sense, cross cultural sensitivity with proficiency in English as well as Mandarin
  • Quality acumen with an attention to details
  • Proven leadership to guide and develop the team successfully.
