It provides core motion control solutions for high-end manufacturing sectors such as semiconductor, optics, and biomedical. The core products include piezoelectric nano-positioning stages, precision linear motor systems, and multi-axis motion controllers, which feature nano-level positioning accuracy, high-speed response, and high reliability. These products can meet the personalized technical needs of customers in precision measurement, micro-operation, and automated production through standard product configuration or customized solution design.

Core Objective

The primary goal of this position is to increase order volume. This is achieved by transforming customer needs into technical solutions (either standard products or tailored solutions), enabling the sales team to close deals based on technically complex solutions and expand the company's market presence in designated key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage application-related technical and commercial expertise to assist Frontline Sales Engineers (FSE) in converting potential business opportunities into orders. Flexibly adjust strategies in terms of response speed, solution adaptability, language communication, cultural alignment, and market positioning based on local and regional business needs. Besides technical capabilities, customer-oriented thinking and sales skills are crucial.

  • Engage directly with end customers to support the sales team; serve as the primary contact for regional FSEs regarding component-related requests, and strive for business opportunities through a team-selling approach.

  • Efficiently convert opportunities into orders:

◦ Ensure the accuracy of opportunity qualification from both technical and sales perspectives.

◦ Guarantee the quality of incoming customer data and outgoing company data.

◦ Screen product customization requests in accordance with the company's corporate product strategy.

  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and internal departments (e.g., Operations, Marketing, Service); provide technology-neutral consulting services (remotely or on-site); focus on technical qualification and data consolidation for high-demand opportunities.

  • Select the most suitable internal contacts to handle customer requests while maintaining technical openness; prepare and consolidate quotations; formulate prices for customized solutions in line with corporate policies and align with end customer price proposals; ensure the scope of delivery and specification proposals match customer expectations; serve as the project owner for complex or highly customized solutions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist FSEs in upselling and cross-selling with product and technical knowledge; utilize application and market expertise in direct customer interactions to expand opportunity volume.

  • Support the local sales organization in business development by providing application, market, and customer information as well as corresponding actions.

  • Provide dedicated support to Global Account Managers for specific customers.

  • Maintain and enhance high-level technical capabilities through regular product training.

  • Collaborate with relevant internal divisions of the company to consolidate data; ensure the achievement of profit and sales targets in accordance with valid pricing and discount models; participate in customer visits and trade fair/exhibition support.

Optional Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project manager for selected opportunities.

  • Manage customer-side Engineering Change Requests (ECR).

  • Assist in after-sales phases when required.

  • Proactively collect and evaluate sales and market-related data.

  • Act as the "Voice of the Customer (VOC)" to feedback customer needs and market dynamics.

Other Provisions

In addition to the above responsibilities, the employee shall undertake other specific tasks that fall within the core scope of the position or arise from operational needs, as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Physics, Mechanics, Optics, or related fields.

  • Prior experience in sales is an advantage.

  • Solid technical expertise.

  • Excellent communication and consulting skills.

  • Good English proficiency; proficiency in other foreign languages is a plus.

  • Project management capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and business units.

  • High standard of quality assurance awareness in data management.

  • Preferred qualifications: Experience in managing pricing and quotation processes; cross-cultural work experience.
